I love love LOVE before sessions. Before sessions are similar to a First Look, only these happen before the Wedding Day- let’s call it a “dress rehearsal”. These, like after sessions, are an awesome way to really slow down and capture some amazing connection between the bride and groom. There isn’t the pressure of wedding day timelines, huge wedding parties, or trying to conntect in front of both a camera AND an audience. I was so excited when Anna and I met and discussed doing one of these, and even more excited when she got Brett on board for it!
When I got to Tanglewood day of the session it started raining (of course!), and I got a little worried that we wouldn’t make this happen, but literally about 15 minutes before our start time everything dried up and we had the most amazing light to work with. Since this was really *the first time* Brett would see Anna in her wedding dress we did a first look to start.
They are seriously the sweetest! And man, I totally made Brett sweat it out and let me snap away before I told him to turn around and see Anna. And it was totally worth it looking at his reaction in these ❤ After their first look we went and explored the manor house and attached gardens.
…and I did giggle at Brett in that last shot, butt grabbing and then Anna’s reaction! We have fun at my sessions, y’all, just sayin’! These two are the best! Their big day was the beginning of this month and there will be lots more blogging and sharing of their wedding, so stay tuned! Also, did I mention that Anna is an amazing graphic designer and created their gorgeous invitation suite?
